Costa Coffee Glasgow Sauchiehall
Welcome to Costa Coffee Glasgow Sauchiehall, a notable spot on the vibrant Sauchiehall Street, where coffee enthusiasts and casual sippers find their haven. Located at 208-212 Sauchiehall St, Glasgow G2 3, this branch of the renowned Costa Coffee boasts a blend of classic caffeine offerings and a cozy ambiance, making it a must-visit for both locals and visitors alike.
However, the experience here can be as mixed as a well-stirred cappuccino. Some patrons express admiration for the staff's dedication, highlighting individual baristas like Lucy, whose warm personality and expert recommendations, such as the delightful coffee frappe with coconut milk, have charmed many. This warmth stands in contrast to reviews mentioning a standard interior that could use a touch of freshness.
- Ambiance: The café’s atmosphere provides the perfect backdrop for a coffee break or a catch-up session with friends, even if reviews suggest some improvements could elevate the overall experience.
- Customer Service: While some staff members shine with exceptional service, like Lucy, others have been described as lacking enthusiasm—an inconsistency that can affect the vibe.
- Quality of Drinks: Patrons have pointed out a common concern: the taste of various drinks often leans heavily towards milky flavors, prompting a desire for bolder coffee profiles in orders like cappuccinos.
- Value for Money: The pricing has raised eyebrows, with some customers feeling that the drinks don’t match up to the cost, especially considering additional charges for toppings.
In summary, Costa Coffee Glasgow Sauchiehall offers a quintessential coffee experience infused with Glasgow’s charm. Despite some operational hiccups, the café is well-positioned in a bustling locale, attracting a diverse crowd. Whether you’re after a quick caffeine fix or a peaceful spot to unwind, it holds potential—especially if you’re served by one of the standout baristas. So, next time you’re in the area, stop by and see if you can find your favorite drink among the offerings amidst the lively atmosphere.

I recently had the pleasure of being served by Lucy, a Costa barista with the most captivating eyes and an infectious smile. From the moment I approached the counter, Lucy's warm and welcoming energy made me feel right at home.As I struggled to decide on a drink, Lucy gracefully suggested a coffee frappe with coconut milk. I must say, it was a stroke of genius. The combination of the rich coffee flavor and the creamy coconut milk created a delightful and refreshing treat for my taste buds. Lucy's recommendation truly showcased her expertise and passion for her craft. But it wasn't just Lucy's beverage suggestion that left a lasting impression on me. Her genuine and attentive nature made the whole experience even more enjoyable. She took the time to engage in friendly conversation, making me feel valued as a customer. What truly sets Lucy apart is her ability to make each interaction feel personal and special. Her radiant smile and sparkling eyes create an atmosphere of warmth and positivity. It's as if she has a way of brightening up the entire coffee shop with her presence.I can confidently say that Lucy's exceptional service and delightful personality have made Costa my go-to coffee spot. Very over priced drinks..We had hot chocolate with some cream and mallows of which mallows were supplied in small cup separately £. a drink. Too expensive for what was given. Taste was nothing special. Staff i encountered were cheerless, like robots. One of the front doors is smashed in and covered in tape. Mirrors on wall needing a good clean as they're all smeared, never been cleaned properly by looks of it.
